I’m Aussie and I haven’t seen these things before. I saw something similar on “Dirty Jobs” (TV show), I think it might be a blood worm. However blood worms will also bite you so it wasn’t a great idea for him to have it on his hand, but with that said we have some bat-shit crazy people here!

Do you know what a parasite is? An organism that lives off of a host, as in requires it to be alive for it to be alive.
