I posted a video of this tiger attack about a year ago. Here is the full video plus more details on the incident:
“The forest department was combing the area with five elephants to locate a large female tiger which had killed two cows near their village. The team cautiously moved almost 20 feet where she was growling away. They took a shot at it with a dart gun and missed. This enraged the tiger so much that she charged and took a “flying” leap 12 feet above the ground on to the elephant’s head. What’s even more amazing is what happened next.”

Actually I don’t find it amazing really that after a tiger attack a man loses three fingers. What I find amazing is that even though the tiger appeared to claw his leg (in the old slow motion video) he was able to stay on the elephant and not get killed.
he try’s to throw a twig at it and ends up losing three fingers..points for effort i guess..
I guess the amazing part was that the Elephant chased the tiger aggressively and then died? XD

Died?, it said ‘calmed’ not ‘claimed’. Has a Tiger ever killed an adult elephant by itself?
If you look at that “dart gun” you might realize its not a dart gun, usually they kill tigers in that area killing stuff. So if i was being hunted and they missed i might try to kill them too.
