“4 Generations” is a film short documenting the author’s journey in southwestern China (near Tibet) to first find, then deliver a water buffalo to a poor family. The water buffalo led him to a family with a phenomenal story.

Wow! I am very touched. I cried especially when they showed the family. There is only 1 male and 3 females. That is a lot for 1 man to carry. I am so blessed to be able to live in America.
poor water buffalo. i wish they could have given them a tractor or something else instead of making the buffalo work for them for the rest of its life.
Move people! I almost killed myself thinking about living there.
the animal is much more capable to do that magnitude of work than the man. And if they did give them a tractor, they would still have to pay for gas and parts if it breaks. All a water buffalo needs is food and water.
Simply amazing. It’s strange to think that I could buy one of those buffalo with only a week or two of minimum-wage pay, yet they have to work for an entire year for it.
i want to do something like that later in my life
there is nothing more satisfying than making a difference.
