well to be honest, she shouldn’t have called back JUST TO ARGUE. No point saying “what’s your name, you’re going to get sued”. “you’re going to get fired” There is no point in saying that if you’re dad is having a seizure. Ofcourse you can sue him later and complain, but priority is not winning the argument and having the last laugh, it’s saving your dad. What she should have done is say “sorry, can I have an ambulance”. After her dad is in hospital, she can go back to the police station and get that guy fired and settle for $5 trillion gazillions.

She was actually in the right. She had to call back because the officer hung up on her and didn’t even ask what was wrong. He didn’t do his job first, I know I worked in a police department as an assistant to the k-9 unit. When on duty you put the job first and this officer didn’t. But yes she didn’t need to back talk. She wasn’t in the mind set of winning the argument that had just taken place, she was trying to get help for her father. None of this would be taking place if the damned officer would learn to do his job no matter what the circumstances may be. It’s the same in the military the line of duty comes before anything else unless stated otherwise.

911 is just plain bullshit. I remember once I witnessed a fight outside my house. I called 9-1-1 from my landline phone .. and the first greeting i got was “911, WHICH CITY are you calling from?” .. huh.. emergency is it? To say they have my number BEFORE they answer the call.
I actually hung up and called again.. and after saying my city I waited 5 minutes for the officer “in my city” to lift the phone. Guess what! the call was transferred, not to my city but 120 miles away. Disgusted, I said “never mind” and hung up.
