alasf, I think “amphibian” was meant to signify the shark’s being able to live in the water and in the air, not on land.

thats why i stopped surfing at new smyrna beach, they are friggin everywhere and you can see them in the water when you are surfing. I think they jump and land on their back to dislodge pilot fish. biology lesson over.
