I think the driver never saw the tank coming because his view was blocked by the truck. They must have thought the truck was waiting to make a U-turn. Two cars in front of them got past it.
I have my doubts on the reimbursement, they didn’t actually stop to pick up the license plate.

It’s a known fact to all Iraqi’s that if there is a coalition convoy on the road you have to pull over and stop. Otherwise you risk getting your ass shot.
