Thats fucked up
oh my god that’s terrible
commiepants is a fucking retard.
they all kill each other over there…how sad.
Keep this in mind the next time you see some millionaire dip shit on t.v. bragging about how hard he is, how ghetto thug he is, while the bling he’s flashing came from the blood of a six year old retired militia warrior. . . So much for brotherhood.
Makes you proud to be an American, don’t it?
And we wonder why the rest of the world hates us.
Atom, your a fucking tool. We have nothing to do with this. They do that to themselves, are is simple comprehension beyond you too? We just sport the gold, and we aren’t the only one’s who do it.
why doesnt a large wealthy foreign company turn the land into a proper mine and use the local blacks to work in the mine and then use the larghe profits to build schools ect
^^^^to every1 above^^feelings are gay.^^^^
Izmegogo, the United States is the second largest gold jewelery consumer in the world. We account for %14 of global consumption. We are only second to India, and since I’m not on a Hindi speaking website I figured I’d address the target demographic. I’m just saying, before you go out there and “sport” your gold take a second to think where it came from.
If you buy it, you support it, you sustain the current situation with all its poor working condition for the miners and wars being fought over it. That’s how simple it sadly is. You could boycot it and products that contain gold. Maybe not religiously, but at least you will think about it before you buy electronics or jewellery that contain gold. The less we buy, the less its valuable to the militia’s. Tho that doesnt really solve the problem of Congo’s economy. It at least is a start.
Whatever. That whole continent is messed up. Quit trying to blame others for buying something thats been sought after for thousands of years. I’m not putting a gun to their heads or forcing them to do anything. It’s a messed up situation that they are in, but what did the former militia peeps do with their guns? Shoot other people, most likely for gold, or they were led like sheep to fight for regional control for some other greedy bastard. Whatever, they have the means to get out of that situation, they just have to do it and not be complacent. It’s a tough life, but they choose to stay. Shoot, slaves ran away way back in the day for freedom; they had the balls to do it, whats wrong with these people? Complacency.
Kickass? Are you…are you saying it’s the workers’ fault?
No, but my point is that they have the means to get out of the situation, even if it seems really hard or implausible.
Come to think of it, it could very well be their fault. I mean what were they fighting for while being in these militias? Control of the gold mines? Well, it looks like SOMEONE got control. Who knows. Like I said, its a quagmire down there. It could be, but who’s to really say.
Feel so sorry for those people in the video. Makes me feel sad and disgusted when I look at the Americans who take everything for granted and those spoilt American kids. Yes, now you wonder why the world hates you. Take a good look at this video and ponder the reason.
why the hell is America blamed for this?
Isn’t it the militias that are doing this?
Besides, everyone uses gold for shit. I mean seriously everyone just wants a scape goat for their shitty lives (i.e. the US).
some one wealthy should buy that mine and make it proper…why doesn’t the UN do that?…
