Essentially, you have a regular mirror at the back, and a two-way mirror at the front. You look through, the two-way, then see the “infinite” reflections between the two mirrors on the inside; the higher quality your mirrors are, the more reflections you get and the deeper the effect.
Still pretty cool though!
