BFD, a mashup of the use of the word “shutup” on FoxNews. But there is a reason Fox gets ratings — it is interesting. Way better than NPR (Narcoleptic Public Radio), CNN, Pacifica or (Hot) AirAmerica. And people get tired of hearing delusional rants on those networks about how Jews are Nazis, America is a facist state, and 9-11 was an inside job.
For all the bitching and moaning the left does about O’Reilly, Hannity, etc., it doesn’t matter. Their message resonates with way more people than Randy Rhodes, Franken, or any other “progressive.” Rush can go on an Oxy bender and come right back to his 20 million listeners. And instead of trying to get more compelling content, the left tries to stifle free speech with things like the Fairness Doctrine. The people aren’t stupid, no matter what liberals claim. They see through the propaganda that the N.Y. Times, CNN spew, and want another angle. Yeah, Fox is biased, but so is Olberman, Rosie, and almost all of Hollywood. It’s the free market at work — get used to it and stop calling viewers sheeple.
Delusional paranoia. The left wing news media has been doing this for years and now they are stomping their feet like a child having a tantrum because somebody is giving a different perspective on the issues. Wake up people, all news is slanted one way or another.
Fox may be the main purveyor of slanted jounalism, but they are far from the only. All mainstream media has been doing this for last 40 years. Nothing new, the media is licensed and regulated by the government, so they pander to them and their agendas.
How can you just sit back and say, Oh well other networks are doing it so its completely okay. Its like acting like children, what it should be doing is having a Balanced and Fair, like there slogan says. By watching fox news, or any other news station that is as one sided as fox all you are doing is putting your hands over your eyes and ears and saying, i cant see you i cant hear you, La la la la Laaa. You need both sides of a actual story so you can make up your own damn mind, if you only hear one side then its like people telling you what to think.

Try to get information from different sources ,whilst being aware of their political leanings and make up your own mind from the information available . I watch 2-3 hours of CNN a day, and I dont remember hearing any anchorman/host cutting off their guests’ mic or repeatedly telling people to shut up and prevent them from expressing their view.
