St00pid biker. His dumb ass should not have tried to pass the guy when he knew the driver of the car would be merging into the left lane ahead of him to pass the car in the right lane..Dumb Ass.

Guys, the car id is spanish, the country is spain or france, and the road rules are clear: when a vehicle is about to pass you, you have to let it do as it has priority on you.
The spanish guy in the car didn’t look behind when he switched lane and according to the rules, refused priority to the biker, he’s totally wrong.
The biker didn’t tryed to pass him through a full line, so he’s allowed to do it.
Just keep in mind the biker see thing we cannot see through cam.
I know spanish driver as I’m a biker myself in southern france, they often do that and most of them drive like shit.

Legally, this is the drivers fault.
Practically, this is the riders fault. You know that you are less visible, especially in a blind spot.
Trying to steer away from the accident, while an instinctive and somewhat practical strategy was the wrong thing to do here.
Get on that front brake, and get on it HARD. Especially in that lane, where you can’t get rear ended. Executing a quick stop would have avoided the accident entirely, and the ride would have continued, but would be a bit smelly due to the load of shit in the pants.
Based on the audio the rider seems to have emerged unscathed, and I hope that he was.
Dumbass should have slowed down a little, trying to pass two cars on a two lane road, I bet the speed limit was nowhere near what he was driving. Sorry, no sympathy from me for these idiots on crotch rockets.

Rider was NOT trying to pass two cars on a two lane road. Rider was trying to pass the bug.
After a good second look, that bug is really crowding the center lane. This is a good clue that the bug is as itchy as the rider is to make a pass. Notice that the bug crosses the center as soon as the solid line turns into a dashed line.
Following a car in the blind spot + solid line turns into dashed line + itchy driver crowding centerline = accident.
Still not the 100% the riders fault, but both the rider and the bug have a hardon to pass. In Bike vs. car, bike always looses. Bike needs to take a chill pill, the signals were all there. This was an avoidable accident.
