I operated a froklift for a short time.
Whole this thing looks cool and is a great idea, I doubt it would hold up under really heavy use.
(Every forklift over a year old had chips out of all the tires where I worked.)
It would probable work well in small, low-use warehouse.
the lift truck drivers where I`ve been working would have that thing tore right the hell up in no time at all. The tires would be wore off in a year and they would probably wear out the joystick. LOL
That being said, … it is kinda cool. It might work in a very clean warehouse with little “real work” going on.
Watch the show “Prototype This” on Discovery channel, they put these on a car, and automated the car to parallel park itself without ever leaving perfectly parallel to the curb. It was pretty bad ass. The episode was about the “traffic buster”, i believe
nice
MICROSOFT SUE SUE SUE!!!!!!!!
Thats pretty interesting….
i’ve seen something like that on a small recon robot but it’s really cool to see on this scale.
I want one, but my brain cannot yet comprehend how this works.
its so easy, even a chick can do it!
They have had these on robots for a while now
They should have had a fine lady in a bikini riding that thing around. That is what we call marketing baby!
she should be eating spaghetti too
I see it but i dont get it
Being a former forklift driver, I find this thing pretty damned interesting. I’d like to try it out.
Regular forklift fail
