There has to be a reason…he keeps saying “what reason could they have for not arresting him!” its like no shit sherlock there isn’t a reason the way you reported it, so maybe instead of crying about how much you hate white people you should do some investigative reporting and actually get the whole story.

wow, this has to be one of the most misleading news stories I’ve ever heard. I live near Sanford, FL where the news story originated. While I agree that he should be arrested and more than likely this is racially motivated, the “he just shot him because he was black” is extremely prejudice. The white guy, leader of the local neighborhood watch, sees a 17-year old kid who he has never seen in this neighborhood. He calls the police and reports a “suspicious” person. He then confronts the kid, they get into an argument where he is probably getting his ass kicked and shots him in “self-defense”. I believe he should be prosecuted for murder, but disagree with the fact that this has turned into a white guy shoot black kid for being black story.

Umm, no. The guy was clearly anti-black. Otherwise he would have just followed the kid home. Instead, he walked up to him and picked a fight as an excuse to shoot him. This was after the police told him to sit back and wait for them to arrive.

Knowing that it feels fairly clear what happened. He called the police, the police said standby but he figured the kid would be gone by then so he grabbed his gun and went after him. He approached the black kid, told him to stand still until the police arrived, more than likely the black kid refused, he then tried to restrain him and there was a struggle where the black kid was hitting him,he then had to resort to using his gun.
Not saying that proves who was right and who was wrong, I’d say 70% white guy 30% black guy, but I’d be willing to bet thats what took place.

Sadly, that’s probably why he’ll get off. The way you make a citizen’s arrest is by ordering someone to stand still until the police arrive. One of them is guilty of assault, but nobody’s going to know who threw the first punch.
