Leo Gao, the co-owner of a BP station in Rotorua, New Zealand, applied for a $10,000 NZD ($6,142 USD) overdraft line from Westpac bank. A human error by a bank staff member somehow put $10,000,000 NZD ($6,139,614 USD) into his account. He has been “missing” ever since.

Screw the banks! I hope they don’t get caught.
I’ve been keeping up on this story. Its hilarious. I wouldn’t come back either. Finder’s keeper’s, bitch.
So they gave him 10 Million dollars and expected him to give it back?
hmmm i could be 70k in debt or take 6mil and run? WTF would anyone do in that situation but take the cash and bolt.
agreed. If that shit happened to me in america, I would be living in some tax free european country.
yup back to chinkland good on ya bud!!!
What? That whole braodcast and not one photo of the dude?
Haha, fucking idiots. Even the guy that “seemed nice” will fucking run away if he’s given six million dollars, it’s a dog eat dog world. Added the fact that his business was also failing, this is golden once in a life time opportunity. One is basically set for at least a decade, possibly more depending on the location. I’m pleased the guy isn’t an idiot and had returned the money, all the power to Mr.Gao.
Didn’t Obama bail out Westpac bank, too?
uh so they put a hold on his account. back to square one for him then.
seems dumb to think that they would not notice and that he could somehow just ATM take out like 6 million
I’d take my ass and my 6 mil straight to Panama! have you seen the females down there!!! OMG!!!
I am so all about the “mustery mullons”.
He’s in Mexico
2:18 wtf
Haha oh they’re just so shocked that someone would take 10 million dollars given to them and run.
Lol, why were they surprised he took it? He’s Korean
He still probably won’t tip, though.
