I’m not going to criticize the old guy because he probably went into the ring for shits. The 21 year old has to answer for that bullshit of a fight. He only threw punches, and didn’t even attempt to keep up a guard. Only the old guy threw any kicks and they sucked ass. Also, 0 ground game. This fight was kind of depressing to watch.
well the point is, he took as many hits as he threw so his resilience is pretty impressive to me, and he did go after the guy when he went down. If you ask me I’d say it was a good fight for not knowing how to fight professionally.
so many openings for take downs and submission attempts. 95% of mma fighters are idiots who like to punch things. They have no strategy or skill.
I did BJJ for two years haven’t trained in a long-ass time, and i guarantee i could submit either of these guys in probably 30 seconds or less. That isn’t bragging. Anyone who trains BJJ for 3 months could do it. Idiots who like to punch things lol
No beef with BJJ, but it isn’t the be all end all of martial arts - not sure if you were taking a jab (trololol) at stand up. I would have loved to see some ground game from these two, but first I have to comment on their stand up:
Have they ever heard about the concept of keeping their guard up? Neither of them had anything analogous to a guard. This whole fight was trading haymakers and dropping bombs. Kudos to them for fighting, but I would have loved to see them actually block a hit instead of eating every single one.

I love how all of the “computer nerds” all of a sudden think they know all aspects of mma. Don’t critique the fight! It was a 53 year old man who went in there! How many other 53 year olds could do that?

The guy recording is stephan bonner, he used to be a pretty big name in UFC. He still fights but has lost a lot of the flame that he had a few years back when he got 2nd place in the first season of The Ultimate Fighter. Just throwing that out there :]
