LOL Mr. Mackey.
well to the person who posted the video saying ” we have got a billy mays in the making, Anthony Sullivan made Billy who he was, he was a partner in Sullivan’s company that he’d had loosely formed from about 17. I have met him personally at a few marinas last year and he is a really cool guy, with a wicked diesel nortech and a never ending entourage of women chasing after him, on top of being hilarious all the time.
Use the internet and find the blue book value for an 05 Mazda6 with 190k miles on the odometer. Then compare the blue book with what the owner is attempting to sell it for. Make an offer along the lines of the blue book. As for the quality of an 05 Mazda 6 I don’t know that their is much mechanical difference with a 4 cylinder 6 compared to a 3. I have read time and again, that the 05 model year has gone on record that 10 years or 275,000 miles would be the service life of the car before any major repairs. If the car you are considering has been pampered, garaged or the owner is a neat nik. Hard to go wrong with Mazda. To pursue the point, I have an 05 Mazda 3 close to 100,000 miles. I had to replace rear struts every 50k miles like clock work, a set of shocks, 2 alignments, change out the rear brake pads for the first time at 94k miles, change the front brake pads at 50k miles, repair a leaky front wheel differential and that is it. As for routine maintenance, I have rotated the tires every 5k-8k miles changed the oil every 5k-7k miles, flushed the radiator every three years, changed one set of plugs, run the engine with Castrol or Penzone synthetic oil, flush the brake fluid once and I am on the original clutch with no end in sight. I get 283-300 miles on a 13.5 gallon tank in the city. Mixed driving anywhere between 318 to 383 miles on a tank of gas at best on the road. I drive at minimum highway speed, I take corners and I am often in a rush. If a 6 doesn’t satisfy you, after 6 years and 100,000 miles I highly recommend the Mazda 3.
