His skeleton is laced with or covered with metal, not replaced with metal. Didn’t you “nerds” read the comic books he is in? I don’t know what the movie says was done to him, I have not seen it yet, but if you go read the old comic books (Weapon X) you will see the drawings of his skeleton, its definitely still there, with the metal laced onto it. It appears to be layered on top of his skin, and via some type of electrolysis, melted into his skin somehow, and boned to his skeleton. Then the brain washing begins, or was that before. Sorry, it was the early 90’s that I read it last.
Though I still have all the Weapon X’s and up to the point he loses the adamantium from his skeleton in the comic book Wolverine, around episode 70 or something. Sometime after the Shiva Agenda storyline. He has bone claws, and finds out that he had the claws all along.
