I like how Seth stated how Bush was re-elected by you dumbass American’s, even after the knowledge of how the three main reason’s for going to war with Iraq were fabricated lies, and your entry, by definition, was terrorism. As a countryman from your allied neighbour of Canada…I’d just like to say, I blame all of you for the atrocities your country has created globally, and hope you all pay for your countries evils of past, present and future.
Well Sam, I’m glad that you can hold us ALL responsible. Now go play in traffic in your rather politically meaningless country.
stop smelling your own farts yank
politically meaningless country? its that kind of ignorence that got you morons in trouble in the first place.
The only difference between the rest of the world and you guys is that apparently no one over there learns from their fuckups.
cheers.
oh yeah, an that speech was freakin sweet
“politically meaningless country”…now i may not know alot about politics but are you not the country who desided it would be a good idea to go to war with iraq? and are you not the capatalist bastards who desided to monopolize alot of the world during the war, you cant protect your country for foolish mistakes, i admit that we havnt exactly done good for the world, but we are most definatly not a “politically meaningless country” besides, without us you would not exist, nor would you have the power you now have. Do not insult a mans opinion if you cannot back it up with evidance and or an oppinion of your own. Not just a mear “Go play in traffic”(and at least we drive on the left side of the road) lastly, this may be a bit of a defence to another british person, but its true you know, bush screwd you up, big time!
We may be capitalist bastards, but at least we know how to spell capitalist, ignorance, and decided.
dumbasses.

Well to start off at least we can spell: ignorance correctly. Yes the president screwed us Authur. But not ALL of us voted for him Sam. I love how you all manage to bash us for any type of sh!t, when you don’t even take a second without looking at your own countries. Stop trying to act as though you have no troubles in your own backyard. The humanitarian princess murdered maybe? But I digressed all I am trying to stress here we ALL have problems deal with them. We could spend years and even perhaps generations debating the fact of whose right wrong and where everyone stands. Try and make the best of each day you can regardless of whose in charge, where you live, or what you do.
I am done with what I need to say be happy in all you guys do.
AMERICA RULES I CAN’T WAIT TILL WE TAKE OVER YOUR CRAPPY LITTLE COUNTRIES.
I love waking up and realizing that while I was sleeping soldiers from my country were out shooting you foriegn bastards in the face so I can be safe and comfy all day.
HELL YEAH! All of you talking shit are just jealous because you wake up and live in a shit city in a shit country where you don’t even have clean water or videogames or good weed.
Keep playing with sticks and mud and smoking schwag you stupid dirty foriegners… I bet you wish you had a comfy couch and a fast computer like me instead of sitting in some dusty computer lab with a towel on your head or whatever your retarded non-western outfit is.
HAHAHAHA THANK GOD IM AMERICAN!!!
[...] Imagine some of the popular characters from The Family Guy doing your grad speach. Gigidy-Gigidy! [...]
If I am not mistaken, in a democracy the people are the will of the government, correct? That’s the beauty of a democracy, the right to vote. Bush was re-elected with a higher voter turnout and a higher percentage of the vote, right. This is after the American people found out that 1) Iraq was not involved in Sept. 11. 2) Osama was not in Iraq. 3) Iraq did not have any WMD (not even a Turkey Farm full of mustard gas, like Bush said (pretty big statement)). And lastly 4) The United States turned away from it’s UN allies and pretty much called everyone pussies that wouldn’t get involved with your dishonourable war. You American’s think you can get together as a people, and vote for a war that is completely dishonourable (showing the world that you all thought that Bush was in his right to act upon the war with Iraq) and then act as though you as a whole are innocent. Forget you. Look at the repercussion’s you’re creating, antagonizing countries (Such as Iran and Korea), weakening your alliances (with people’s and countries around the world), and committing acts of torture and terrorism. Just look at the past actions of the U.S during the cold war; Lack of reparation payment to help Afghanistan after promoting the war between Afghanistan and Russia to end the cold war. Giving food and weaponry to Iraq to take out Iran (theirs your WMD…your own war weapon’s you chicken hawk’s). Do you guy’s realize that maybe…JUST MAYBE you got attacked because your country stick’s it’s nose where it doesn’t belong and PROMOTES war. I really hope you American’s get what’s coming to you. You have really shown us all how democracy can fail if you control the media, and lead the people like sheep. I really do hate the United States, and I am from Canada assholes. I hope those Iraqis kick the living shit out of you. I personally will never consider myself an ally of the United States. And I will tell you one more thing: if the United States were to be attacked tomorrow, it wouldn’t be terrorism, it’d be about Freakin’ time.
Well, pardon me for my English; also I would like to say this Sam fellow has a point.
But I would also like to agree that ‘American’ Guy (post no. 35)
“Try and make the best of each day you can regardless of whose in charge, where you live, or what you do.”
Its true, although I disagree with what Americas government has done and probably will do, I’m sure that most of you know that not much can be done about that for a few years yet, and I think we all have more important issues to think about such as Global Warming, not exactly death of a country but more of Mother Nature. I am one of a different lifestyle to most and I believe that while government is a BIG waste of time. The people are the only people to do anything about what they do…so I urge you to go out and enjoy what we have while we have it, soon the forests will burn and the land will dry/flood. And yes this may all be off the point, but I want to end this argument (which technically I did aid).
Anyways the point is, why waste your time (and I am wasting my time) talking to people who we will never meet in a lifetime. In my opinion, we are all the same in the end. So yes live life to it’s fullest or at least die trying!
Sam obviously knows nothing about the deep division in the United States between conservatives and liberals, the latter of which oppose everything Sam finds offensive. I also must warn Sam of such blatantly hateful talk and to look at politics from a qualifying perspective rather than purely flamebait.
Sam, you just look like an ignorant asshole when you say things like that. I like how you’re willing to condemn Americans for having a government that has committed such atrocities, but wish onto them an attack (seems hypocritical to me). There is a large number of Americans that are against the Bush admin. At least be respectful of those individuals (of which there are many), instead of hating the whole nation without pause.
To any Republicans that might be reading these posts, Sam up here is the very reason we need to stick to the conservative agenda. We cannot afford to have ignorance of this magnitude leading our country.
I wish Seth came to my College, ITT -tech.
Seriously? He made a 30-second jest on politics and you yokels focus on that? As a vehement liberal, I say shame on you. I completely understood the kids at the New School heckling McCain, but you making an issue of something so minuscule is a disgrace. These kids worked hard for however many years for this day, don’t make your political platform their keynote. My commencement speaker did just that, and had no meaningful words of wisdom.
As for the speech, I say it was great challenge for the kids to actually make a difference. My favorite part was Stewie talking about them being idealists and selling out. Obviously he did some research to relate to their experience, and did a terrific job identifying with the students. Hell, I would imagine that if everyone wasn’t able to find something to laugh at, the stick in their ass will never be found.
Also, if you have ever watched the commentary on the Family Guy DVD’s, I would say kudos to Seth for the only mildly abrasive language. Let’s be honest, on the same opposite, the students don’t deserve someone with the couth of Sam Kinnison. Overall, in the spirit of the day, I give the address an A-.
everyone is gonna have a diff opinion regardless just stfu and have a cup of tea and live happily ever after
Okay, I ask you, why should anyone believe that a change in political party would do anything. In 2000, wasn’t there supposed to be a recount of votes due to closeness and some weird shit with ballets…and yet it ended up going to the court’s to decide your president? So tell me, why didn’t the opposition or even the people as a whole go into turmoil over that? Is that not dropping the ball on democracy? You all seem to think that the 2004 election was even an issue. It would have been a shock to the world if the election would have been close and yet in favour of Kerry. It was downright angering to see that the American people, as a whole, not only didn’t care about the war atrocities that went on during Bushes term…but rather enjoyed it. You all are so surprised that you were attacked, like your country had no bad blood on its hand’s. You accused men of terrorism, and then went ahead and committed an act of terrorism against Iraq. And after the reasoning for entering Iraq was found to be lies, your government changed its reason for invading Iraq to; Giving Iraq the gift of Democracy. Then, to make matter’s worse, after your country votes for Bush again, you now have the audacity to state that it is not up to you as a people to control your government. I ask you again, what the HELL would you people know about being a democracy? Does it really matter who is in power in your country. It’s pretty obvious that your country play’s things out like chess, and the American people are true pawns. I don’t believe for a second that changing your political party would change your role, as far as foreign policy is concerned. Not with weak willed masses like yours.
Also, you call me a hypocrite. Your country was attacked on Sept. 11, and before any of you could ask yourselves “why did our country deserve this attack†you were off to Afghanistan. Well that’s fine, chicken shit terrorist’s should get their Asses handed to ‘em, if you ask me. But then your country lies about war and commits an act of terrorism by giving a deadline for an imminent air strike. This deadline had a stipulation that Saddam’s regime must step down, thereby changing the Iraqi government and society, for you countries own political and ideological gain. That is the definition of terrorism. So I ask you, who was the original hypocrite in this situation?
Oh, and I see the argument that really fill’s out the American argument…my view’s show the reason why going to war over lies isn’t a horrible thing. Just like an American to hate freedom of speech unless it follows their way of thought. But I tell you what, I’ll give you the benefit of the doubt…I’ll make an effort to understand why America doesn’t deserve to get it’s ass handed to it…like the terrorist’s it’s proven itself to be, and maybe you’ll change my way of thought, and my ongoing journey to create Anti-American sentiment.
I’d also like to say that I have never heard of a countries people ever adopting a way of life (say democracy) or a border created for them, unless they do it for themselves. I’d also like to say that under Regan, the American government originally green lighted Saddam Hussein for his military might, and the only reason your government’s pissed is because Iraq didn’t act like a trained dog.
I hope you all could read my last post.
racy speech indeed… so funny watching seth bashing white privilege to the elite themselves
The speech was quite enjoyable. Watching Seth speak using the voices of Peter, Stewie, and Quagmire was almost difficult to accept - like trying to eat the green ketchup Heinz came out with a few years ago.
Oh, and one more thing, just so this off-topic discussion can truly fall deep into the depths towards which it is heading: I don’t like cats, therefore cats are like Nazis.
Hooray for Godwin’s Law!
It’s sad when more people vote for an American Idol then a president…
Sam, I could read your last post, and I even translated it into English. You’re not very bright, and it has absolutely nothing to do with your being a Canadian. Only small-minded, bigoted idiots lump people together based on where they live. Then again, it takes a real subhuman to wish a terrorist attack on any nation. And if America “deserved” 9/11, what did you Canucks do to “deserve” the attack that was planned on your country that was just recently foiled?
Don’t bother answering: first of all, you won’t make any sense, and second of all, I won’t be here to read it.
None of this takes away from the fact that Seth McFarland is incredibly funny. You’re all morons for turning this into a political discussion, and I’m a moron for joining you.
Good night, and good luck.
Don’t blame me, I voted for the dude who looked like Lurch in 2004 and for Nader in 2000.
Ugh. Sam, go stick your face in your pillow and scream your whiny ass off. Better than trolling here and typing out boring manifestos. Last time I checked there was a huge group of radicals trying to blow up YOUR country. Not something I’d wish on anybody, even a cruel goblin like yourself.
We could talk about a really funny Canadian TV show, but last time I checked, there AREN’T any.
[...] » via noob.us [...]
I’m glad to see that ignorant rednecks without an ounce of common sense live on both sides of the border and the downspiral of humanity is not limited to this country (ie the US).
I’d also like to personally thank Sam for demonstrating that math can indeed transcend all barriers of language by proving that 50% actually means 100%.
And in all this infighting it seems we have forgotten the true enemy: Bolsheviks! Thaw out McCartney, it’s time for another Red Scare.
Let me start by first saying that Sam is the dumbest person i have ever not met. I’m sorry we invaded another country but when i loose a father and a brother in one day, you konw, i get a little pissed. I was told it was Osama and that he was in Iraq so I went and fought in that war and i will stick by my country because something of that nature is hard to fathum. Yea our democracy is not exactly as it says and not much can be done about the past but wouldn’t you want to find the person who stole a friend or family member from you.
Now I’m going to end with Seth is absolutly hilarious and I was impressed with that speech
SUCKS!

First of all…loved the speech. He had balls to get up there and say those things, but it was entertaining and I think it sent the right message to the kids in the end.
As for our upset Canadian commentator here, I do have to point out that he is right on some of his specifics, but if he gets his wish, he’ll regret it. Yes, the US does things it should not always do. I personally did not agree with how or why we went back into the Middle East and so on. At one time there were certainly WMDs in Iraq, I have seen the reports first hand and was in the first Gulf War. Either way, we are there now and it would be wrong of us to leave without leaving the place better than we found it, but by leaving them in charge of themselves. Technically the US is an empire. Like it or not, they are the last big one left. They are the only one with the ability to face terrorism on a global scale. If the US is beaten down and falls apart like what happened to the USSR, the rest of the world will soon follow with devastating effect in global turmoil. I have lived in the Middle East and am retired military and tell you that you must understand what you are up against and who the US is fighting.
The US has been getting attacked since the early 80’s by terrorist attacks. This has now elevated to the point where, as Osama himself put it, they wish to make the US a shadow of it’s former self and to create a worldwide muslim government. The ironic part here is that they actually are doing the same things and for many of the same reasons as the Unabomber was doing on his own. They both wish to try and move the world backward in progress to fit their own ideas of what it should be like and are willing to use brute force and killing of innocent people to get there.
I’ll get down off the soap box and avoid getting too deep here, this is not the place for it. The US is not perfect, but it is the best place to keep working on it from. We don’t always get it right with electing the best people, as sonetimes it is a matter of picking the better of two losers, but we do the best we can and hope for better next time and keep moving on. In some countries, he would have been killed for saying what he did, but I respect his ability to speak his opinion, even if I don’t entirely agree with it. That is how you keep your freedoms, you respect them. War is a terrible thing, and I would like to see us out of the Middle East as well, but we have to do it right or it will only make things worse.
Remember…if the US gets it’s ass handed to it, Canada will have a front row seat at the trainwreck that will follow. So, be careful what you wish for.
Canada is like a loft apartment, above a really good party. - Robin Williams
ugh, what a thread, a funny video by one of the greatest person in TV, and a political debate. As a member of the Canadian Navy, I will agree that US forces shouldn’t be in the Middle East. And that they just can’t leave, because, honestly, the place would turn into a rotten hole of dead bodies. Not too many people in North America understands what’s going on there. As part of the Canadian DND, my ROE’s are “Not to attack unless attacked”. Which really drives me insane when I see a truck with five people holding loaded AK’s. Then you’ll also see children, 5-6 years old, getting their hands cut off because they stole a loaf of bread, women being betten to death because you can see more than their eyebrows. It’s a fucked up place for people that werent born there, especialy when all we can do is stand there and watch these things happen. My fire team partner lost it one day and saved a girls life, for a while at least, he but fucked some guy about to shoot a 8 year kid, dunno why, but he’s now in Club Ed (Military Prison, in Edmonton for 2 years minus a day) for violating ROE’s. Not too mention how the US troops are treated. On the aircraft carriers it is acceptable for one ship to loose 8 people a trip. That means they wont investigate untill the 9th person is MIA. What kind of country must you be in, when it is acceptable to loose personal every trip, no matter where the ship is going? Not too mention the meals, 4 shrip or a salad for every meal. Pathetic. I say first, when’s is okay to leave the Middle East, get out, and stay the fuck out. Secondly, get someone in the White House who actually gives a fuck about your country and not just oil. If you can do that, the world will be a better place.
P.S. - Seth MacFarlane is a GOD
And for those who are stupid and/or immature
being but fucked = Rifle but into the back of some one’s head.
ROE’s = Rules of Engagements

Canada’s Corruption Scandal Breaks Wide Open
A political scandal involving the Public Works Ministry, a government effort called the Sponsorship Program, and allegations of corruption in the ruling Liberal Party has Canada abuzz with rumors of payoffs, Mob ties, and snap elections. For the last two years, Canadian politics has been gripped by the so-called sponsorship scandal tens of millions of dollars in government contracts which were funneled into advertizing firms closely connected with the Liberal government for little or no work, but with shadowy rumours that much of the money found its way back into Liberal coffers. Prime Minister Paul Martin, himself a Liberal, appointed the Gomery Commission to investigate these charges and determine whether to bring charges against government officials for corruption and malfeasance.

Duelfer investigation
The Duelfer report, released on 30 September 2004, described in a key finding the impact of the Oil-for-Food Programme on Saddam’s regime:
• The introduction of the Oil-For-Food program (OFF) in late 1996 was a key turning point for the Regime. OFF rescued Baghdad’s economy from a terminal decline created by sanctions. The Regime quickly came to see that OFF could be corrupted to acquire foreign exchange both to further undermine sanctions and to provide the means to enhance dual-use infrastructure and potential WMD-related development.[vol. I, p.1]
The final official version of the report cites only France, Russia and Canada as violators who paid kickbacks (countries who were also heavily anti-war) while at the same time specifically censoring out companies from the US originially included by Duelfer by CIA order. [11] However, the full version of the report, before the U.S. names were removed, was sent to congressional committees and some of it made publicly available. The U.S. companies implicated include Exxon Mobil Corp., ChevronTexaco Corp. and El Paso Corp. [12]

(AP) Paul Martin put his political life on the line Sunday by boldly promising to resign if a public inquiry shows he had prior knowledge of a sponsorship scandal that saw $100 million in public funds go to Liberal-friendly advertising and public relations firms.
“Anybody who is found to have known that people are kiting checks, that people are falsifying invoices — me or anybody else — should resign,” Martin said on CBC’s Cross Country Checkup.

Total USAID money (as of April 14, 2006) given for rebuilding Iraq (not defense) $5,017,537,956. If Canada is so much better for the world, what have you done lately? Sitting around and watching the world deteriorate does not count. Show the world the money!
As a response to Justin from the Canadian Navy, you are wrong about the US Navy. I’ve served on a US Carrier. The conditions you describe are incorrect. It is not normal to lose eight people per deployment, and an investigation occurs with every accident whether there is a death or not. Loss of life is not acceptable.
Also, our ROE’s include the protection of life (anyone’s, unless overrode by direct orders for specific instances) using appropriate force.
