Is this some sort of joke? all he did was tremolo pick the easiest song ever, might not seem like a easy song but it’s easy as in there is a lot of notes to do before having to switch strings. And that’s what slows down playing always and is always a challenge to get good at and precise at.
Lets see him actually do something difficult like sweeping, string skipping, or various techniques combined together like sweeps with extra notes tapped in along with some extensive legato runs. Phss, this guy is over ratted and it’s not all about speed even though it’s nice to have it at time.
Lets see him play that super fast part in The Devil Went Down to Georgia in Guitar Hero 3 and have x4 multiplier the whole time…… 8notes per second….. nubcakes
Traczyk, way to try and make yourself seem smart by downing this talented guy. I’m a player, and i know i couldn’t play that fast. He has skill, whether you like it or not.
I would love it if you posted a video of you playing your style of music. I can guarantee that it would be an epic fail.

It did look fastforwarded lol..but if you look at…(his sponsor?) in the background…normal movements…insane, props to this guy, awesome that he can do this..but if you think about it…16 hours per day…thats kinda…sad..no? Not that im saying get a life..well..kinda…but i wish i could do that without all that practice…anyways…as long as it makes him happy
A big haha to the two of you, as if I was trying to make myself look ’smart’, and I’m a player myself that has dedicated quite a bit of his time to playing as well, and I do envy the guy’s skill and dedication to his guitar even though 16 hours a day seems a bit over the top as it would mean he wakes up, plays the whole time he is awake and goes to sleep just to repeat that again.
I managed to do 8 hours (with washroom breaks) at the most and that’s already a bit too much. Either way, all I wanted to point out is that it’s just tremolo picking. 320bpm is wild, I think I could do 200~220 at the most but that was also a few months ago that I tried to test my speed. Good job to the guy even if it’s all just for speed.
I agree with Traczyk… yes, he is good, but not monumentally so. Its more of a sideshow really, not some achievement to bow down to as an all-time milestone in guitar… it doesn’t even sound good. And no, I am not pretending to be anywhere near that good and will not be posting a video on youtube but nevertheless I do not give this guy as much credit as Steve Vai or Satriani or a bunch of other really fast guitarists who show a lot more dynamism in their play.

I pick pretty fast, not as fast as this guy. The picking is extraordinary. Muting the strings though is cheap. If you can’t play it clean then you aren’t really setting a record for fastest guitar player; Rather fastest guitar picker.
