The clock was so you can see that he originally sang it in reverse and flipped it digitally after so you could tell what song it was. same with the ball(doesn’t spiral up) and the balloons(doesn’t make them selfs) and bricks(don’t fall up)

the props were to add sound effects in with the vocals, but because the sound quality of the clip was low, it was hard the hear most of the sounds on this clip.
If you speed this up even more and play it from back to front you can hear a hidden message. Something about Satan telling you to smoke crack and set your face on fire, least that’s what I heard…. I’m not allowed to talk to people anymore for some reason.

Surprisingly easy to do, but nevertheless impressive, though the song was fairly unintelligible when played backwards (or the right way). Not that I’m particularly familiar with the American national anthem (that’s what it was right? I’m not just making myself look stupid here am I? :p).

it’s not easy making forward speech to sound backwards forward with the intention of making the recorded outcome legible after being reversed. I’ve fooled around with this a little in music, so i know that learning a melody backwards is frustrating.

The props are to show that the video is being played forwards. If it was sung forwards and played backwards the stuff he was doing would have happened backwards.
