Well, for one, someone on the field too far away for the microphone to pick up yelled “LOOK OUT”.
simple, look at the right part of the video, no ball was even pitched. they made it look like the ball was approaching the batter but they forgot the right side.
Um, I see a pitch on the right side.
it is fake cuz when the guy hits the ball it goes streight then it is high up in the air heading towards the reporter. plus there is no news logo also the batter was saying nothing when ppl were cheering so ha! childish i know

If you freeze it between :16 and :17 you can see he is palming a ball with his thumb. This was shot in front of a green screen.
at 0:08 when he “catches” the ball, if you freeze the fame you can see the ball disapear on the right and he “catches” the ball on the left were the ball wasn’t going.

if you look closely, a ball comes off the batter’s bat and goes in a different trajectory than the one evan longoria catches, you fucking GDI.

sadly it is fake, if you watch closely you’ll see that he hits the original ball and it goes about 4 feet in front of him and dissapears, then the wild ball pops in out of nowhere and flys toward the camera….
I did notice that the cameraman did flinch, and the reporter gasped and backed away. I rewound it a gazillion times and am seeing no real definitive “fake” ball in the frames. I’m on the fence… I can’t agree that it’s fake. *shrug*
The ball 4 feet in front of the batter was there before the swing, not after.
Its definately fake, look at the pitcher and batter, there is no reaction when the dude catches it, they just carry on.
That shit’s about as fake as that reporter’s hair…
you can see in slow-mo where the ball ends and the CGI takes over…It’s not really even a good animation job.

Buttwipes, it’s real. Look at the reaction by Longoria after he catches the ball. He mumbles and shakes his hand, trying to get rid of the pain.
When someone is coming up from behind you, and you know someone is there, how do you explain it? It’s your sixth sense warning you of danger or a perceived physical threat, so you turn around.

haha are you serious? the batter is directly in the middle of the camera by “chance”, Longoria then proceeds to act like nothing happend at all. terrible acting, but an awesome video none the less.
