Yeah, except now everyone’s walking on eggshells so we don’t offend BK. I liked it better when there were fewer updates. At least we weren’t afraid of saying the wrong thing.
I suppose my main issue is that I’m conservative. The left has been busy labeling everyone who doesn’t agree with their agenda as racist, homophobic, or islamophobic.
If you don’t agree with Obama’s agenda, you must be racist.
If you don’t think gay marriage is a good idea, you must be a homophobe.
If you think the builders of the ground zero mosque are being insensitive to those who lost family members on 911, you’re an islamophobe.

Just because I don’t agree with the way the country is going doesn’t mean that i’m a racist, homophobic, or islamophobic.
It’s time we all grow a little thicker skin and stop being offended by everything. The 1st amendment says the government has no right to stifle free speech. It says nothing about a right to not be offended by comments on a website.
BK can ban whoever he wants since he’s not a government entity. This website is a dictatorship, not a democracy (and I’m totally fine with that). That doesn’t stop me from thinking he’s being hypersensitive, though.

I actually don’t give a shit whether gays can or can’t marry. I just think that when the California voters say that they don’t want gay marriage, an activist judge is being a total prick to overturn their decision.

You just represented your argument through a list of unrelated polemics. If you have a problem with a judge going against the democratic system then say that, not that you get labelled if you disagree. Because if you do disagree with gay marriage, then you are necessarily a homophobe.
You don’t have to agree with everything, but if there are some things that you are against then some labels are justified. Im not saying all of them are, but in some cases you just need to man up stop being hypersensitive and accept the consequences of asserting a certain position. You can’t avoid labels.
To lengthen the argument even more, the mosque at ground zero is not even a problem, I can’t see why people are so hyped about it. The mosque they’re building is several blocks away from Ground Zero, and there’s been a mosque even closer to that for many many years. Furthermore, the “mosque” dilemma is only a cover-up story to draw attention from a political happening.

So let me lay out pseudo-W’s argument in tiny little steps so you understand it.
To say that gay people who love each other just as much as straight people don’t deserve to celebrate that love in the same manner means that you don’t think that gay people deserve it or are unwilling to afford any level of equality to them.
This is prejudicial. It creates a hierarchy wherein gays are kept below straight people.
If you are prejudiced against gays, then you are a homophobe.
If you don’t agree that two gay men or women that love each other deserve to get married then you are a homophobe.
