He caught the ball, which forces the runner that was on first(now on second) to have to run back to first, and the Runner that was on second(now on third) run back to second. So what he did was catch the ball, tap 2nd base making the runner on third(who has to go back to second) out, and the runner on second(who has to go back to first) out. BTW I hate baseball and think it is the stupidest sport in the world
